I looked up into the trolley, trying to track down broken wires, but the wires are all intact. I looked at the coil and the wires to the coil which make the claw 'grab' are intact.
I put the volt meter to the claw itself and the claw is getting juice. There is a small scorch around what I assume is a resistor or something. I tried removing/reseating the circuit board a couple of times and it sorta worked after that. The game worked absolutely fine and it cleaned up okay when I tested it before buying. Yeah.I went ahead and picked a smaller Big Choice Claw Machine up for cheap not knowing what I was getting into.
